1. Mouth guards are mandatory.
2. PLAYING TIME
UNDER-10:
will play 20 minute halves, running time. (1
minute half time). Substitutions will be made on any stoppage of
play: out of bounds, after a goal, etc.
UNDER-10 # of players:1
Goalie, 2 Defense, 3 Midfield & 2 Attack. No long sticks (38” to 42”
for all sticks). Field is 60 yards. Goal size 5’ x 5’. No body
checking, 10 yards on a deadball foul, penalties will result in a
fastbreak situation for the team not assessed the penalty. Flagrant
penalties will be assessed at the discretion of the officials. If a
player is assessed a flagrant penalty, that player will sit out the
remainder of that shift. If a player has two flagrant penalties in
one game he will be suspended for the remainder of that game and the
next game. Required equipment – mouthguard, helmet, shoulder pads,
arm pads & gloves. Goalies also require a throat guard and chest
protector.
UNDER-12 , 14 , 17 GIRLS AND BOYS:
will play 22 minute halves, running time. (1 minute half time).
Clear rule applies, except for U-10 games
U-12 & U-14 under Modified Rules - No
Counts
No Face Off Rule: When a team is ahead by 4
or more goals (ALL LEVELS)
3. SUBSTITUTIONS All subs will
be made on the fly, except Under -10 (see above). The player coming
off the field must be completely off the field before the new player
enters.
4. TIME OUTS Each team will be
given 1 time out per game. Each time out is 30 seconds
in length.
5. PENALTIES All personal
penalties will be 2 minutes in length, and all technical fouls will
be 1 minute in length. The high school release rule will be in
effect for this tournament. At referee’s decision, if a player
delays getting off the field, the ref. has the right to stop the
game clock.
6. EQUIPMENT NCAA/H.S. rules
will be enforced with the discretion of the referee. The limitation
on the number of long sticks you can have on the field at one time
is 4. Violation will be a tech. foul.
Hockey helmets are allowed.
7. OVERTIME All first round
games that end in a tie will remain tied. A tied game in the semi
finals and finals will be broken by a “sudden victory” overtime
period. Length of O.T. quarters will be 5 minutes in length with one
minute in between quarters. (One time out per overtime quarter).
8. POINT SYSTEM The tournament
will use the following point system: Three points for a win One
point for a tie Zero points for a loss:

A.) Head to head
B.) Goal differential (Max 5)
C.) Fewest goals allowed
D.) Most shutouts
9. FIGHTING Any player
initiating a fight, involved in a fight or flagrant foul could be
expelled from the net game or the entire tournament; to be reviewed
by tournament committee and referees of the game.
10. REFEREES All referees are
New York State High School Certified Officials. The referee has
complete authority in all games.
11. TEAM CHECK IN
CHECK IN AT THE SITE OF YOUR FIRST GAME !!!
All team representatives must
check their team in at the game table prior to your first game. All
eligible players must be listed on each team’s official rosters.
Final team roster, and proof of age for all players will be due at
the time of registration.
12. CONCESSION STAND The
concession stand is located at the main entrance to Wilber Field and
at the college. TOILETS Toilets are located
outside the main entrance to Wilber Field and at the back of the
high school.
13. PARKING Please park in
parking lots. Do not park on the grass, at McDonald’s / Fastrac,
Kinney or Friendly’s.
At the college, please park in the main
parking lot near the tennis courts.
14. TRASH Please put all your
trash in the trash barrels available.
